Token Supply

Note: Exact percentages subject to change prior to the first $EVA token sale.

The graph below shows the overall $EVA token supply over the first 48 months after the Token-Generation-Event (TGE). This distribution model aims to ensure sustainable growth by providing a steady influx of $EVA into the economy over time.

$EVA Token Allocations

Play & Earn Pool:

At the core of this sustainable token-earning model is the Play & Earn pool. Specially reserved for player rewards, this is the largest allocation of tokens. This pool is designed to award Evatar players with avatar NFTs for playing the Evaverse while attracting new players through competitive rewards in the Eva Games. As the Evaverse scales, this pool will be replenished by players purchasing new content in-game.

Early adopters, community members, and Evatar holders will be rewarded through an accelerated airdrop campaign starting at the token generation event (TGE). 30,000,000 $EVA tokens or 41% of currently available tokens, will be distributed through the airdrop campaign over the first six months. The remaining 43% will be split over time amongst Evatar players and used to fund the competitive rewards pool for the Eva Games, which are available to all Evaverse players.

Team + Advisors:

This pool is reserved for the Battlebound Team members and critical advisors working closely with us to make the Evaverse the best game possible.

Series Seed Equity Investors:

This pool is allocated to investors who have seed-funded Battlebound and given the studio firepower to hire an incredible team and help bring the Evaverse to life.

EcoSystem (Liquidity/Marketing):

This pool is dedicated to ensuring enough liquidity for the $EVA token at all times and funding diverse marketing activities to ensure the steady growth of our player base.

Sales: These tokens are reserved for one or more rounds of private token sales that will provide an additional source of funding for Battlebound and allow us to continue to grow the team and the games we are building.

Proof of Play, Off-Chain Currencies

Currencies Overview

Account Level

As part of our free player progression features, we will introduce an Account Level, a way for players to track how much they have accomplished within the Evaverse. A player's account level is uncapped and will stay with them for as long as they are a part of the Evaverse.

The account level will be much more than Evaverse bragging rights. It will also tie into how players discover Stars and unlock key gameplay benefits at specific levels. The only way to increase your account level is by being active within the Evaverse.

Tickets - Proof-of-Play

Tickets are Evaverse's most common currency and represent time spent playing the game, also known as "Proof-of-Play". Players earn Tickets by playing any of the games available within the Evaverse, including Hoverboarding, Cosmic Cup racing, and new games like Arena Shooter, which is in early development. Tickets cannot be exchanged, traded, or sold within the game.

Players can convert their Tickets into Badges using the Badge Exchange Service Terminal (B.E.S.T.) Machine. Badges will be used at the Synthetic Neural Augmentation Exchange (S.N.A.X.) Machine to purchase consumable items that provide upgrades like rerolling Hoverboard stats, experience bonuses, recharging Turtle Troop's stamina, or changing one's account name.

Badges - B.E.S.T.

Players can take their Tickets to one of the Badge Exchange Service Terminals (B.E.S.T.) found in the E.V.A. Hub and exchange them for Badges, our second off-chain currency. Each spin on the B.E.S.T. will reward players with a random assortment of Badges. Badges come in three rarities (from most common to rarest): Arrival, Zenith, and Celestial. B.E.S.T. has an added element of luck to the Tickets to Badges conversion, which will be used in the S.N.A.X. Machine to purchase content. However, chance is only sometimes on our side, so we've built a guaranteed system so every player can hit the Jackpot eventually. The higher a player's Account Prestige (the highest Prestige Stat among their owned NFTs), the fewer the spins needed to hit the Jackpot.

Stars

Once Stars are introduced to the Evaverse, they will serve as the vehicle for earning the $EVA token. All players can compete in weekly tournaments and earn Stars depending on how well they perform. In addition, Evatar holders (or free players with a rented Evatar) will discover Stars at their own pace and without needing to participate in competitive tournaments by completing Daily and Weekly quests, and finding Stars by participating in all the game modes the Evaverse has to offer.

Star Earning Loop (Evatar Holders)

All Evatar holders will benefit from leveling up Evatars in their collection. A person's cumulative total of Evatar levels will grant them better chances of discovering Stars. This system enables Evatar holders to gain additional Stars throughout the week, increasing their personal $EVA payouts. At the same time, more Stars allow the community to reach higher Star Milestones to unlock more significant payouts for all players.

The chance to find additional Stars begins at 0% and increases based on the player's Account Level, Account Prestige, and the levels of all Evatars they own. Since First Arrivals are the genesis avatar collection for the Evaverse, their ranks hold more weight than future Evatars.

Star Earning Loop (All Players)

Free players (as well as Evatar holders) can discover Stars within the compete-to-own model. Every week all players will be able to compete in several unique tournaments. Based on a player's performance, they will discover several Stars, which can be converted into $EVA.

Proof of Ownership, $EVA

The Collectible Battlepass

The Evaverse will provide a unique take on the Battlepass feature that will take full advantage of blockchain technology. Each season’s Battlepass will only be available in the Evaverse for a limited time. However, thanks to the nature of blockchain technology, players who missed out on a particular Battlepass, may be able to find them on NFT marketplaces such as Open Sea.

Players who own a Battlepass can activate it and begin leveling it using Badges. Every level will unlock special rewards, including but not limited to exclusive cosmetic items, {{Stars}}, Account Experience, NFTs, and a Whitelist Spot for the NFT collection related to the particular Battlepass being leveled. Players can only have one active Battlepass at a time, but there is no expiry date once activated. We aim to give players agency and true ownership.

True Ownership: Each Battlepass is a non-unique NFT (ERC-1155). Players can buy an unlimited amount while available in the Evaverse and then sell them on the market or activate it to unlock the rewards. This enables players to access past Battlepasses that are no longer available in the Evaverse. After buying a Battlepass, players can activate it to start progressing and unlocking rewards. Once activated, a Battlepass can no longer be traded.

Collectability: Each Battlepass will feature a unique visual design. Once activated and fully leveled up, it can be added to the player's Battlepass Collection. Players that collect all Battlepasses from any given year will unlock additional exclusive rewards.

Player Agency: Each Battlepass can be activated by the player whenever they want. This allows players to complete the Battlepass at their own pace.

NFT Levels

Players can level up most of their NFTs by participating in the related game mode. For example, racing in the Hoverboard Racing mode allows players to level up their Hoverboard NFT. Each additional level grants the NFTs more stats, improving performance.

With the release of the Cosmic Cup game mode, the Turtle Troop NFTs will also gain the ability to increase their level and their stats, allowing them to perform better in the Cosmic Cup mode.

Future NFT collections (like the Weapons coming with the Arena Shooter mode) will feature a similar leveling feature.

Evatars have a unique leveling system that directly ties into the earning capacity of the players. Players will spend badges to increase the level of all their Evatars, which collectively increases the rate at which they discover Stars during gameplay. High-level Evatars increase the earning potential for players.

NFT Lending & Evatar Rental

Evaverse players can loan their NFTs to other players using the Scholar System. This feature allows free players to borrow an NFT from other players so they can experience them within the Evaverse. Tickets earned by players with borrowed NFTs are split between the borrower and the original owner of the NF as defined by the lender.

Eventually, Evatar holders will be able to rent their Evatars out for an $EVA fee. Players renting the Evatar will benefit from all perks related to owning an Evatar while they are renting it. This includes gaining the ability to find additional Stars and increase their $EVA earning potential.

World-Class Cosmetics

S.N.A.X. Machine

The S.N.A.X. (Synthetic Neural Augment X-Change) Machine is the Evaverse in-game shop players are used to seeing in traditional free-to-play games. Here players can purchase cosmetics, upgrades, consumables, and rare items on and off the blockchain using either FIAT currency or the $EVA token.

Below you can find a list of consumables planned to be sold for Badges in the S.N.A.X. machine. We will add additional items to the in-game shop in the future.

Cosmetic Items

Cosmetic and wearable items enable players to show off their style without functional gameplay impact. They are meant to give players options to personalize how their assets look in-game. In line with our philosophy of providing a core traditional free-to-play experience, some cosmetic items will live outside the blockchain until players choose to mint them at their convenience.

More details about this system will be released soon.
